Mother Nature greeted Drag Racers and Fans to beautiful day on Sunday October 5, 2014. I made my out to Capital City Dragway just off Highway 7 to get my last fix of the season. A few bikes, cars and a few new drivers made for a great afternoon of racing. The clocked ticked 5 O'clock and as things were winding down from the beer garden I noticed a Doe crossing to the center of the drag strip. I pointed it out to Pit Road Mom, who keeps everyone fed. She said just wait, she's checking it out and there will be a little one coming along. Sure enough, a few minutes later a little fawn came out from North. They jumped wall and were feeding along the grassy area parallel the access road. All in all it was a nice way to end the drag season. Mother and fawn crossed into the woods.
